Multiverse Education combines the joy of scientific discovery, live music performance and immersive storytelling in programs designed specifically for your community.

Dr. William Hume, Director of Education, Multiverse Concert Series

Igniting the Senses

We welcome students to be the storytellers of their own learning. “Science and Sound Stories,” our featured early elementary event, is an interactive, multidisciplinary performance that pairs science-themed storybooks with original, live musical compositions and an accompanying science lesson. In this event, students are critical members of the ensemble, bringing story elements to life through singing, dancing, rhythm and instruments. Each student can build their own emotional connection with the story and science lesson!

Enlivening Student Learning

We believe interdisciplinary learning is an opportunity to find new meaning and creativity in familiar topics. Our workshops are wide-ranging, from “Cellular Dance,” a guided choreography coaching and live music and dance performance inspired by the microbiology of cells, to presentations on sustainable farming practices, ocean preservation efforts, and the science of black holes. Multiverse is grateful to partner with institutions like Harvard University and Boston University, so that your students can hear directly from scientists and researchers and ask questions at each event. It is through this dialogue that we want to help your students discover new horizons in their learning!

Serving Our Community

Accessibility for all audiences is our mission. We believe in the life-changing power of live music and equitable education. Multiverse commits hundreds of no-cost tickets for students and families to attend our season concerts. As an official partner of the Boston Public Schools, we work with schools of greatest need and collaborate on new music and science programming. In April of 2026, Multiverse Education developed a performance with the Presidential Scholars Foundation and the Boston Mayor’s Office to advocate for arts education in the community.

A Word From Our Partner

“Children’s Services of Roxbury is not just another community service agency. We are a beacon of light in the middle of life’s storms. The services that are provided here extend beyond the here and now. We serve each family according to our mission, with compassion, respect, dignity, excellence, patience, humility, and integrity. As the Director, it is my responsibility to provide and uphold a safe, nurturing environment where children are cared for and educated, families are welcome and included, and the community can thrive through cohesive collaboration. In this spirit, Children's Services of Roxbury has benefited tremendously from Multiverse’s work.”

Bringing the Concert to You

Through our immersive chamber concerts and science symphonies, we bring the magic of the concert hall and the wonder of STEAM learning directly to schools and community venues. Journey to distant exoplanets in Octave of Light, explore living biology through ballet in Cellular Dance, or experience the Red Planet with real Martian audio in Mars Symphony. Combining live music, cutting-edge science, and stunning visual storytelling, our programs inspire curiosity across every grade level.

About the Multiverse Education Grant

Each year, Multiverse subsidizes the cost of programming for Title I schools, youth service organizations and communities lacking resources for traditional music and science curricula.

Through your generous support, Multiverse will continue bringing STEAM learning to all areas of our community.
